How soon can you run after a broken toe

As the saying goes, it takes 100 days to break a bone, and it takes about 3 months after the fracture of the toe before running can be done. If the fracture is mild, you can take conservative treatment by fixing the fracture, asking the patient to rest in bed and avoiding unnecessary exercise, thus reducing the pressure on the toe and promoting fracture recovery. If the situation is more serious, the patient is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and use surgical treatment to reset the fractured bone. After surgery, the bone should be immobilized in a cast, preferably for about 6 weeks. If the healing is good, the cast can be removed after 6 weeks. Thereafter, the fracture will be reviewed regularly at the hospital to monitor the healing process. If the healing is good, running and jumping exercises can be performed after 3 months. If the healing is not good, the patient is advised to take more bed rest to ensure the fracture is healed.
