Efficacy and effects of aspirin enteric coated tablets

Aspirin Enteric Tablets inhibit platelet aggregation and prevent thrombosis, treat and prevent transient ischemic attacks, cerebral thrombosis, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, migraine, prosthetic heart valves, thrombosis after arteriovenous leaks and other surgical procedures, thrombo-occlusive vasculitis, etc. Aspirin for indefinite anticoagulation in venous thromboembolism: Aspirin is recommended to stop the recurrence of venous thromboembolism in patients with unexplained proximal venous thromboembolism or pulmonary embolism who are scheduled to discontinue anticoagulation therapy and have no contraindications to aspirin. Because aspirin is much less effective than anticoagulants in inhibiting the recurrence of venous thromboembolism, aspirin is not recommended as a reasonable alternative to anticoagulation in patients who are scheduled to receive indefinite anticoagulation therapy. However, inhibition of venous thromboembolism recurrence is one of the advantages of aspirin, and the benefits of aspirin can be weighed against the risks of bleeding and inconvenience if the patient has decided to discontinue anticoagulation. Because patients may stop using aspirin when they start anticoagulants, aspirin use should be reevaluated if the patient stops anticoagulation therapy.
