What’s wrong with a cold butt and back pain?

Cold buttocks and low back pain, first of all, exclude whether there is a lumbar disc herniation, if the lumbar disc herniation has compression on the nerve root, then there will be cold buttocks and low back pain, and at the same time there will be numbness and radiating pain in the lower limbs, and some patients will also have a heavy buttocks, swelling situation. If there are symptoms of cold buttocks and low back pain, it is recommended to do lumbar disc CT or lumbar disc MRI to rule out whether there is any compression of the nerve root by lumbar disc herniation. In addition, if the patient has a lumbar disc herniation, the cold buttocks and low back pain may be particularly noticeable when bending over, because the lumbar disc herniation compresses the nerve root when bending over, and the force is greater.
