What to do about low pressure between 56 and 60 in the summer

Summer low pressure of 56~60mmHg is divided into physiological and pathological, physiological generally without treatment; pathological commonly found in poor blood pressure control, acute myocardial infarction, heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases, shock, and so on.
1. Physiological: Normal low blood pressure should be between 60~89mmHg. When the temperature rises in summer, the blood vessels are in diastolic state, and the increase of sweating reduces the blood volume in the body, which leads to the low blood pressure, and generally there is no need for special treatment.
2. Pathologic:
(1) Poor blood pressure control: hypertensive patients taking long-term antihypertensive drugs such as nifedipine, summer can be caused by vasodilatation resulting in an overall reduction in blood pressure, if accompanied by a significant drop in high pressure, patients appear dizziness, fatigue and other symptoms, should be promptly adjusted to the hospital medication.
(2) cardiovascular disease: such as acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, etc. lead to a decrease in myocardial contractility, the heart ejection is reduced, blood pressure can be lowered, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible to see a doctor, clear cause of the disease after treatment, if the acute myocardial infarction need to be assessed by a doctor after implantation of stents, heart failure need to be inhaled, follow the doctor’s instructions for the use of digoxin and other cardiac stimulant, ginseng pine nutritive capsules and so on.
(2) Shock: large burns, or severe diarrhea, etc. lead to a decrease in blood volume, sweating also increases in summer, shock, this time most of the blood pressure will be a progressive decline, need to correct the cause of blood loss, timely intravenous rehydration, the use of dopamine, adrenaline and other antihypertensive drugs.
If the patient’s low blood pressure is 56~60mmHg in summer, it is recommended to go to the hospital, clarify the cause and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
