After craniotomy for aneurysm, normal life is usually resumed 3 months after surgery. Within 3 days after surgery, patients need to be hospitalized for close monitoring of vital signs and limb activities. The head of the bed can be elevated 15°~30° within 4~6 hours after the operation; 6 hours after the operation, a small amount of warm boiled water can be given if the patient is conscious and has not vomited. Depending on the patient’s condition, the doctor will arrange the discharge time, usually within 2~3 weeks after the condition is stabilized. Within 3 months after surgery, patients should avoid using strong alkaline detergents to clean the wound. Follow the doctor’s instructions for regular checkups, usually once a month within 1 year after discharge and once every 3 months after 1 year. Since different patients have different conditions and different surgical procedures, aneurysm patients need to consult their attending doctors on how long it takes to recover from craniotomy and follow the doctor’s instructions on rehabilitation training, with a view to returning to health as soon as possible.
