How to treat cerebral infarction thrombolysis

Thrombolytic therapy for cerebral infarction mainly refers to the patient’s admission to the hospital after the relevant tests have been completed and the cerebral infarction has been confirmed within 4 and a half hours from the onset of the disease, or in some cases can be extended to within 6 hours, the patient can be given thrombolytic therapy. For thrombolytic therapy, the patient is given intravenous alteplase or urokinase. Alteplase is calculated according to the patient’s weight, and coagulation and vital signs should be monitored. Some hospitals do not have alteplase, but they can also consider giving the patient urokinase intravenously, which is about 100 units of urokinase in saline, and giving the patient temporary intravenous doses. If thrombolysis is unsuccessful, individual hospitals can also consider surgical treatment such as removing or pulling embolism. At present, there are more ways to treat cerebral infarction, and patients should be given symptomatic treatment such as improving collateral circulation, scavenging oxygen free radicals and cerebral protection at the same time of thrombolytic treatment.
