Fever in cerebral infarction can aggravate the patient’s condition, and if the body temperature is too high it can aggravate the death of brain cells, and generally should be given with ice caps and sleeping on ice blankets. Fever can be caused by many reasons, for example, it can be caused by cerebral infarction itself, called central hyperthermia, and most of them are caused by cerebral edema and increased intracranial pressure due to severe cerebral infarction. Treatment is mainly physical cooling, such as sleeping in ice bags and wearing ice caps to protect brain cells, as well as improving blood circulation and rehydration therapy. Some patients may suffer from co-infections, including urinary tract infections and pulmonary infections, as well as decubitus ulcer infections. If patients have pulmonary and urinary tract infections, they should be treated mainly with intravenous anti-inflammatory infusion, and the commonly used anti-inflammatory drugs include cefoperazone sodium sulbactam sodium, ceftriaxone sodium and levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, etc. Patients with decubitus ulcer infections should be treated mainly with drug changes.
