Patients with acute cerebral infarction should be given intravenous thrombolysis if there are no contraindications to thrombolysis within the 4.5-hour time window. Stroke guidelines clearly state that intravenous thrombolysis must not be delayed in patients for any reason, provided there is an indication for intravenous thrombolysis. IV thrombolysis is the most effective means of restoring effective cerebrovascular reperfusion, saving a large number of brain tissue cells and maximizing neurological recovery. However, if the patient has contraindications to intravenous thrombolysis such as exceeding the time window, symptoms of neurological deficits that may be caused by epilepsy, intracranial surgery within the last 3 months, severe head trauma, significant bleeding tendency, decreased platelets, large cerebral infarction death, etc.
