Drinking too much headache need to find out the reason, may be physiological, may also be pathological; physiological reasons need to adjust the lifestyle, pathologically caused by the need for targeted treatment under the guidance of the doctor, such as drug therapy, surgical treatment, and so on.
1. Physiological: headache after drinking too much alcohol, mainly due to alcohol and its metabolites for vascular stimulation, resulting in intracranial vasodilatation caused by pain; at this time, through appropriate rest, and a large number of drinking warm water or honey water, can accelerate the excretion of alcohol in the body.
2. Pathologic:
(1) If high blood pressure exists, it can be prompted to increase after drinking a large amount of alcohol, with symptoms such as dizziness, headache, blurred vision, ringing in the ears, insomnia, and fatigue; consider giving antihypertensive medicines such as metoprolol to control the elevation of blood pressure, so as to alleviate the symptoms of headache.
(2) Heavy drinking may induce cerebral hemorrhage causing headache, which may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, different degrees of consciousness disorder and limb paralysis. Mannitol, furosemide and other drugs are commonly used to reduce intracranial pressure, and surgery is considered to remove blood clots if necessary.
However, it is not excluded that it is caused by other factors, when the headache is obvious, if the adjustment of lifestyle is not obvious, we should go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease, and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
