Multiple hypoechoic nodules in the thyroid gland indicate lesions and nodules within the thyroid gland, which may be nodular goiter, or the nodules may be cancerous, so you need to come to the hospital for examination. First of all, thyroid function should be checked, along with thyroid antibodies, and then the benignity or malignancy of the nodule should be judged in combination with thyroid ultrasound. If the nodule is hypoechoic, the border is not clear, there is a dotted calcification inside, and the aspect ratio is greater than one, it is a malignant nodule. In case of malignant nodules, radical thyroid cancer surgery can be performed, and the procedure can be further clarified by rapid cryopathology. If benign nodules are suspected, multiple and small nodules can be followed up. If the nodules are large, more than four centimeters in diameter and have symptoms of pressure, unilateral lobectomy can also be performed.
