The treatment of multiple thyroid nodules mainly includes two aspects: First, conservative treatment, if the diameter of multiple thyroid nodules are less than one centimeter, and the imaging grade of thyroid ultrasound examination is below three levels, and there is no abnormality in the thyroid function test, then conservative treatment can be performed to treat the primary disease, and thyroid ultrasound examination is repeated every three months to observe whether there is any change in the nodules, if there is significant growth in the nodules, then timely surgery is required. If the nodule grows significantly, surgery will be required. If the nodules have significant growth, surgery is required. If the nodules are larger than one centimeter in diameter, or if they are accompanied by abnormal thyroid function, or if the thyroid ultrasound is graded as grade 3 or higher, or if there is a possibility of malignant transformation, surgery is required in a timely manner.
