What’s wrong with the white color in the lungs?

Whitening of the lungs is mainly a sign of a disease in the lungs. Any abnormal lesions or shadows in the lungs will show up as white lungs. The whitening of the lungs is mainly a CT manifestation. CT has a lung window and a mediastinal window, and the mediastinal window mainly examines the lymph nodes, while the lung window mainly looks at the lung parenchyma itself. Once the lung becomes infected, tumor or tuberculosis, any abnormal lesion will result in white spots on the parenchyma of the lung on CT, or large white flaky shadows or small white nodules, etc. In addition to this, clinically white lung actually indicates a very wide range of lesions in the lungs, i.e. diffuse lesions in both lungs, i.e. lesions that invade both lungs, indicating that the patient’s condition is very serious and seriously affects the patient’s breathing, which can lead to breathing difficulties. If the lungs turn white, as the people often say, it may be because there is inflammation in the lungs, or an abnormal lesion has grown.
