Ovarian cancer requires chemotherapy in most cases. The initial treatment principle for ovarian cancer is a combination of surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Chemotherapy can be applied before and after the surgery for ovarian cancer. Chemotherapeutic drugs are sensitive to most ovarian cancers. The commonly used chemotherapeutic drugs include cisplatin, carboplatin, paclitaxel, etc. The regimen used is 3-6 courses for early stage patients and 6-8 courses for advanced stage patients. Depending on the size of the residual cancer foci and the evolution of the specificity of the corresponding tumor markers, the appropriate regimen should be adjusted accordingly, and if necessary, chemotherapy can be given again if the tumor recurs.
