What to do with runny nose every morning

When the nose runs every morning, the first thing to look at is whether the runny nose is clear or yellow, and whether there are other symptoms such as nasal blockage, nasal congestion, headache, sneezing, facial swelling, nasal itching and dry nose. If the patient has clear runny nose with symptoms such as itchy nose, sneezing and dry itchy eyes, he/she may have allergic rhinitis and is advised to go to hospital to check allergens and avoid contact with them as much as possible. If the allergen cannot be identified, anti-allergy drugs can be used, and the house should be cleaned, bedding should be changed and masks should be worn when going out to prevent and control allergic rhinitis. If the patient has a yellow nose and symptoms of nasal congestion, congestion and headache, it is considered sinusitis, and it is recommended to check sinus CT and nasal endoscopy to see if there are other problems. If sinusitis is diagnosed, patients are advised to take anti-inflammatory treatment and medication to promote mucus thinning and drainage. If conservative treatment of sinusitis is not effective, even surgery is possible.
