If one or more polyps are present in the bowel, polyp management or treatment is performed through the colonoscopic approach. The current treatment option is minimally invasive surgery, i.e. endoscopic surgery, which is generally safer. During the procedure, attention needs to be paid to the location of the polyp. If the polyp is located in the liver or spleen area, it is easy to cause perforation by resecting the bottom of the polyp too deeply. In addition, if the polyp is large and the blood vessels supplying the blood are thick, failure to take care of the hemostatic treatment after the operation may cause rebleeding after the operation. Adequate preoperative examination and evaluation are required, and it is possible that patients with multiple polyps may have been missed during treatment and some of the polyps cannot be removed.
