Can you recover from the enlarged feet after childbirth?

Usually the enlarged feet can be restored to normal after delivery, because the pituitary gland will be relatively enlarged and hypertrophied during pregnancy, the pituitary gland itself is rich in blood flow, and some of the growth hormone IGF-1 levels are increased, so pregnant women will feel that their noses are enlarged, their hands are bigger or their feet are bigger, and even their shoe sizes change and the shoes they used to wear become tighter. Usually, the pituitary blood flow decreases after normal delivery, at which time the enlarged nose, hands and feet can be restored, and the short-term hormone level changes can gradually disappear with the end of pregnancy. If there is no postpartum hemorrhage or other problems, usually after the pituitary blood flow returns to normal, the size of the pituitary gland can basically return to normal with the delivery, and the enlarged parts of the pregnancy can gradually return to normal size. Usually, because the pregnant woman is already an adult, height growth is less likely, while partial growth of the fingers, flat bones, nose or toes may occur, but is not permanent.
