Concussion precautions

  1.Concussion is a functional disorder of the brain after external force, there is no organic damage to the brain, and it is necessary to maintain emotional stability.  2, bed rest is very important, generally need 1 to 2 weeks, avoid sound and light stimulation, prohibit reading TV and books and newspapers, etc.  3.Family members should not be anxious and worried in front of the patient, but explain patiently and meticulously to eliminate the patient’s worries.  4.Take appropriate amount of tranquilizers, sedatives, pain relievers or drugs that help brain cells recover as prescribed by the doctor.  5.If severe headache and frequent vomiting occur during rest or observation at home, send to hospital or report to physician immediately.  6.Easy to digest and nutritious food should be consumed during the recovery period, and avoid smoking, alcohol and other stimulating food.  7.After the symptoms become lighter, you can resume moderate exercise early.
