Contraindications of Nicergoline

Contraindications to the compounding of nicergoline are mainly that the use of antihypertensive drugs together enhances the hypotensive effect. Nicergoline is a semi-synthetic ergot alkaloid derivative with a receptor blocking and vasodilatory effects. It is metabolized by CTTP4502D6, which enhances the blood pressure lowering effect when taken together with antihypertensive drugs. Nicergoline should be taken at intervals with antihypertensive drugs. Nicergoline can mainly improve the sequelae of cerebral infarction caused by emotional disorders, including memory loss, inattention, sensory retardation and so on. It may also be used in acute and chronic peripheral circulatory disorders. Adverse effects of this product include hypotension, stomach pain, drowsiness, and insomnia. It is contraindicated in recent myocardial infarction and acute bleeding. This product is recommended to be used under the guidance of a physician to avoid blind self-medication.
