How to eat leeches

As a traditional Chinese medicine, leeches are usually decocted with water and can be used in the treatment of blood stasis and menorrhagia (stoppage of menstruation due to stasis of blood and obstruction of menstruation), hemiplegia in stroke and other conditions.
Leech is the dried whole body of leech, leech or willow-leaf leech of the family Hirudinidae. It is flat in nature, salty and bitter in taste, with a small toxicity, and belongs to the liver meridian, which has the effect of promoting menstruation and breaking up the blood circulation, expelling blood stasis and eliminating the symptom of stasis in the body. It can be used in the treatment of bruises, hemiplegia in strokes, stagnation of blood in the heart and abdominal pain, obstructions in the abdomen and masses in the abdomen (lump in women’s lower abdomen), and so on.
This product is contraindicated in pregnant women and people with excessive menstruation, and the adverse effects are not clear. Specific use should be under the guidance of a physician with other herbs decoction to take, do not use the drug by yourself.
