What else do you need to do after the 4D?

After the 4D is done, there are many more checkups to be done, such as glucose tolerance test, color ultrasound, blood test, urine test, and fetal heart monitoring test.
Pregnant women usually have a 4D ultrasound at 20-24 weeks of pregnancy, a maternity checkup in January before 28 weeks of pregnancy, a maternity checkup every 2 weeks from 28-36 weeks of pregnancy, and a weekly checkup after 36 weeks of pregnancy.
Glucose tolerance test should be done in 26-28 weeks of pregnancy to diagnose whether the pregnant woman has gestational diabetes. If there is any abnormality, blood sugar needs to be adjusted promptly under the guidance of the doctor. Blood pressure, weight, and fetal heart rate should be checked at each subsequent labor and delivery examination to check whether the pregnant woman has hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and her weight gain during pregnancy.
Fetal heart rate should be checked at each checkup after 34 weeks of pregnancy to check whether the fetus has intrauterine hypoxia. Meanwhile, obstetric ultrasound, routine blood test and routine urine test can be performed at each maternity checkup according to the condition of the pregnant woman.
