What should I do to promote breastfeeding after delivery?

The lack of milk production is the biggest headache for mothers who are interested in exclusively breastfeeding their babies. Therefore, some people desperately drink pig’s feet soup, carp soup, some people turn to various lactation health products, and some people look around for folk remedies for breast milk. At present, the main methods to promote breast milk are herbal medicine, massage, diet and other methods to promote breast milk. Let your baby suck on your nipple half an hour after birth Let your baby suck on your mother’s nipple half an hour after birth. Through the baby’s sucking, it can effectively stimulate the mother’s hormone secretion, and then promote the secretion of milk from the glands in the breast. The more the baby sucks, the more breast milk will be secreted. Breast massage is best done within 24 hours and three days after delivery. It is best to do breast massage in the early days of breastfeeding to help open up the milk. Usually the best result is once within 24 hours after delivery and once 3 days after delivery. Drinking lactation soup three days after delivery Drinking lactation soup too early will make the milk come down too fast and too much for the newborn baby to eat, which will not only cause waste but also make the mother’s milk ducts blocked and cause breast swelling and pain. Drinking lactation soup too late will make the milk come down too slowly and too little, and the mother will be nervous because of the lack of milk, which will further reduce the amount of lactation, forming a vicious circle. Therefore, it is generally recommended to start giving lactation soup to mothers on the 3rd day after delivery.
