What’s with the occasional pins and needles in the uterus?

Occasional pins and needles pain in the uterus may be a physiological phenomenon or a symptom of certain diseases, such as endometritis, fibroids, etc., and the cause should be identified in a timely manner.
1. Physiological factors: as the uterus may contract during or before menstruation, occasionally pain may occur, which may be pins and needles.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Endometritis is an inflammation caused by bacteria breaking through the defense of the cervix and invading the uterine lining. In mild cases, there are no symptoms or mild symptoms, while in serious cases, the main manifestations are lower abdominal pain, fever, abnormal vaginal discharge or abnormal menstruation, etc. The pain in the lower abdominal area may be like a pinprick pain.
(2) Uterine fibroids cause tingling pain in the uterine area, accompanied by menstrual abnormalities, abdominal masses, leucorrhea, lower abdominal distension and other symptoms, and some patients may have no obvious symptoms.
This symptom alone is not enough to diagnose the disease, and may be caused by other factors, such as cervicitis. It is recommended that if physiological causes are ruled out, the patient should consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease and give targeted treatment.
