Cerebral infarction, dizziness, limb weakness

Cerebral infarction, dizziness and weakness of limbs need to choose the appropriate treatment according to the patient’s course of disease, age and physical fitness, such as oral drug treatment, thrombolytic therapy, surgical treatment and so on. 1. Oral drug treatment: use aspirin, clopidogrel and other antiplatelet drugs to prevent platelet aggregation; use atorvastatin and other drugs to effectively lower blood lipids, so as to improve the symptoms. 2. Thrombolytic therapy: For patients who are eligible for thrombolytic therapy within 3~6 hours during the acute stage of cerebral infarction, thrombolytic therapy is recommended. It can make the patient’s blood vessels reopen and restore the cerebral blood flow. Commonly used thrombolytic drugs include alteplase, reteplase and so on. 3. Surgery: For patients who have exceeded the time of thrombolytic therapy, mechanical thrombolysis can be chosen according to the condition; for patients with early onset of cerebral infarction (within 48 hours) and rapid increase of intracranial pressure, decompression surgery can be carried out to debride the bone valve; for patients with carotid atherosclerosis cerebral infarction, carotid endarterectomy can be chosen. It is recommended that patients with cerebral infarction should monitor their blood pressure and blood glucose in their daily life, have a regular work and rest schedule, avoid staying up all night, and maintain a low-salt, low-fat and low-sugar diet. The symptoms of dizziness and weakness of limbs should be hospitalized in a timely manner, and treatment should be carried out under the guidance of doctors.
