Does cervical effusion go away on its own?

Whether cervical effusion disappears on its own should be determined on a case-by-case basis. If the cervical effusion is small and occurs during menstruation, it may absorb on its own. Cervical effusion occurs in the cervical area when the menstruation is not completely clean, and can be excreted with the menstruation and mostly disappears after the end of the menstruation, so the patient can not be too nervous. If the amount of cervical effusion is large, it is considered to be caused by cervical inflammation, which may be related to cervical glandular cysts. Most women of childbearing age do not need treatment in this case. A few women with heavy clinical symptoms and inflammation can be treated with symptomatic anti-inflammatory therapy. However, in the case of menopausal women, it may disappear on its own due to the decrease in hormone levels and the atrophy of the uterus and vagina. If cervical effusion occurs, patients are advised to visit the gynecology department of the hospital and decide whether or not to give treatment after examination to clarify the cause.
