Survival in the early stages of neuroblastoma

The survival rate of neuroblastoma in early stage cannot be generalized, the specific survival rate is related to clinical stage, pathological type, treatment method, physical condition and other factors. Generally speaking, the earlier the disease is detected, diagnosed and treated, the less impact it will have on the life expectancy, so it is recommended that the patient undergoes regular treatment as early as possible. Neuroblastoma is the most common tumor in infants and children. For neuroblastoma in early stage such as stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ, early tumor resection, its 2-year survival rate is 80%~90% for patients with better physical condition. For early stage neuroblastoma with poor pathology, if the tumor is not treated in time, or if the patient’s physical condition is poor, the two-year survival rate is 20%~40%. It should be noted that early neuroblastoma patients can improve the prognosis and reduce the adverse effects of the disease through early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment, and it is recommended that patients actively undergo regular treatment.
