Yellowish leucorrhea is often caused clinically by: 1. vaginitis. 2. chronic cervicitis. 3. endometritis. 4. pelvic inflammatory disease. So if the leucorrhea is yellow, make sure to do a gynecological examination to find out whether the vagina and cervix are congested and edematous, and whether there are abnormal redundant organisms. If necessary, you can do a routine laboratory test of the leucorrhea, or take the secretion from the cervical canal for bacterial culture plus drug sensitivity test. In addition, gynecological examination is also recommended to find out whether the uterine adnexa is normal and whether there is pressure and pain through double examination.
