What to do when your toes are swollen with blisters

Swollen toes with blisters (medically known as blisters) are commonly associated with tinea pedis, sweating herpes, burns and other diseases, which need to be clearly diagnosed and then selected for treatment with appropriate medications, such as antifungal medications, glucocorticosteroids, antibiotics, and so on.
1. Tinea pedis: can be treated with topical antifungal drugs, such as ketoconazole ointment, bifonazole cream, etc.; if the symptoms are serious, the simple use of topical treatment is not effective, can be combined with oral antifungal treatment, such as terbinafine, itraconazole and so on.
2. Sweat herpes: if the itching is obvious, oral antihistamine treatment, such as loratadine, cetirizine, etc.; combined with topical glucocorticoid treatment, such as tretinoin urea ointment.
3. Scald: you need to draw out the liquid in the blister, use iodine povidone for local disinfection, and then disinfect the bandage; pay attention to the regular change of disinfection; larger wounds also need oral antibiotics such as cefixime to prevent infection.
It is recommended that patients follow the doctor’s instructions to use medication, not blindly self-medication, in order to avoid adverse reactions.
