1. Chronic simple pharyngitis: commonly used 2% boric acid solution, compound borax solution gargle, in order to maintain the cleanliness of the oropharynx. Available 5% silver nitrate solution, 10% weak protein silver solution, compound iodized glycerin coated pharynx, which has an anti-inflammatory effect. 2. Chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis: the lymphoid follicles bulging in the posterior wall of the pharynx can also cause foreign body sensation, so it is necessary to target the lymphoid follicles for treatment.
(1) Chemical drugs: 20% silver nitrate solution is mostly used to cauterize the elevated lymphoid follicles.
(2) Laser therapy: Cauterizing the lymphoid follicles in the posterior pharyngeal wall with laser has the advantages of good efficacy, less pain and no bleeding.
(3) Radiofrequency therapy: using radiofrequency therapy to treat hyperplastic lymphoid follicles, the effect is also good.
3. Atrophic and dry pharyngitis: cauterization should not be applied. A small amount of iodine can be taken to promote increased secretion and improve dryness.
