Does preeclampsia heal on its own?

Some of the preeclamptic miscarriages can be cured by rest, some of them can be improved by using progesterone and other birth control medicines, and some of them will be gradually aggravated with inevitable miscarriage. There are many causes of preeclampsia, and the cause should be identified by the gynecologist at the hospital when symptoms appear. If the symptoms are caused by overwork, they can usually be cured after rest. For those with luteal insufficiency, progesterone can be injected intramuscularly or progesterone can be taken orally under doctor’s supervision. After treatment, if the vaginal bleeding stops and the ultrasound examination shows that the embryo is alive, the pregnancy can continue. If the clinical symptoms worsen, ultrasound examination reveals that the embryo is underdeveloped, and the blood HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) continues not to rise or fall, it indicates that miscarriage is inevitable and the pregnancy should be terminated. Pregnant mothers are advised to pay attention to rest in early pregnancy, avoid contact with radioactive substances, and prohibit sexual intercourse to minimize stimulation. Regularly going to the hospital for maternity checkups can largely reduce the probability of preterm miscarriage occurring.
