Qi deficiency is the most common type of deficiency of qi, blood, yin and yang, the main symptoms are shortness of breath and laziness, low voice, pale (white and lusterless) or yellow, dizziness and fatigue (lack of spirit), weakness of the limbs, pale tongue and weak pulse.
1. Lung qi deficiency: shortness of breath and spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by sweating with a little movement), low and timid voice, weak cough, clear and thin sputum, cold and hot at times, easy to catch colds in general, white face; pale tongue and weak pulse. Lung tonic soup can be taken.
2. Heart qi deficiency: palpitation, shortness of breath, especially with labor, fatigue, self-sweating; pale tongue and weak pulse. One can take Seven Fortunes Drink.
3. Spleen qi deficiency: reduced diet, stomach and epigastric discomfort after eating, tiredness and fatigue, loose stools, yellowish color; pale tongue, thin moss, and weak pulse. You can take Jiawei Si Jun Zi Tang.
4. Kidney qi deficiency: fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), lumbar and knee soreness, frequent and clear urination, scanty leucorrhea; pale tongue, weak pulse. One can take Da Tian Yuan Decoction.
