Double lung texture increase, coarsening is commonly described in chest X-ray, the formation of causes include physiological state and pathological state, physiological state is mostly caused by age and smoking, pathological state is affected by more factors, such as respiratory diseases, cardiovascular system diseases, and so on.
1. Physiological state: some elderly people will show increased lung texture on chest X-ray due to more interstitial or blood vessels. If there is a habit of smoking, it will also cause changes in the texture of both lungs.
2. Pathological state: respiratory diseases, such as long-term cough, acute and chronic bronchitis, lung infections and other respiratory diseases, will be found in the clinical examination of lung texture increase, thickening. Cardiovascular system diseases, some heart disease in the examination, will also be found in the lung texture increase thickening, such as left ventricular insufficiency leading to pulmonary stasis, congenital heart disease and other diseases.
In addition to the above reasons, the examination equipment as well as the examiner’s technical reasons may also lead to the illusion of increased lung texture. If the patient has thickening of lung texture, it is recommended to complete the relevant examinations under the guidance of the doctor to find out the cause of the disease, make a clear diagnosis, and take measures to treat the disease after eliminating the physiological causes.
