Breast cancer can be detected through imaging and clinical breast examination. High-risk groups should pay particular attention to the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. In order to detect and treat breast cancer early and reduce the mortality rate of breast cancer, it is recommended that middle-aged women undergo regular breast cancer screening every year. High-risk groups can be screened even earlier. Regular mammograms, ultrasound, tumor markers and clinical examination are recommended for initial assessment of breast abnormalities. If breast cancer is suspected in screening, tissue biopsy is required for pathologic examination to determine the benign or malignant nature of the lesion, so as to clarify whether it is breast cancer or not. Health education, surveillance, and behavioral modification are especially important for people at high risk for breast cancer, so that early detection, diagnosis, and treatment can be achieved.
