Postoperative rehabilitation and precautions after laminectomy

I. Bed rest for 3 days after surgery. From the 4th day to 1 week after surgery, get up with a waist girth to urinate and defecate, and walk on the ground for 15 minutes every day. From 1 week to 1 month after surgery, bed rest is the main thing, with waist circumference appropriate down to the ground, if the back discomfort immediately bed rest. From 1 month to 3 months after surgery, live normally with the waist circumference. 3 months after surgery, remove the waist girth. 6 months after surgery, jogging, swimming and other sports are feasible. Second, during the bed rest period, insist on doing straight leg raising movement every day, both lower limbs in turn (starting from the 2nd postoperative day, 3 times a day, 10 each time). Lie on a hard bed and strengthen the functional exercise of lumbar and back muscles, such as arch bridge pose and swallow pose (starting from 1 month after surgery, 2 times a day, 30 pieces each time). Avoid sitting and squatting for a long time; avoid bending over to retrieve things, you can adopt straightening the waist, bending the hip and knee to squat to retrieve things. Third, very few patients may have back pain and lumbago between 1 week and 1 month after surgery, at this time, they should rest in bed and reduce the time of downward activities, the lumbago will gradually improve and the patients will feel more and more comfortable by themselves, and they can resume daily life after removing the waist circumference in 3 months.
