Most of the symptoms of hypohydramnios itself are atypical, but fetal movement with abdominal pain may also occur, but hypohydramnios is mostly associated with reduced placental function.
On examination the uterine height and abdominal circumference is less than the same gestational week, the fetal growth is restricted and there is a sign of urgency of the uterus wrapping around the fetus. At the same time, the uterus is more sensitive and contractions can be triggered by light touch.
