Is the fetal movement jumping around, is it the baby’s hand or foot movement?

The conception of life should be a great and beautiful thing, and it is also one of the most proud things for women. The greatness of mother’s love and the selflessness of father’s love can be fully experienced during this conception process. We know that the embryo appears at six weeks of pregnancy to rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy; the fetal heartbeat appears at eight weeks of pregnancy, which means the fetus is alive; and at eighteen weeks of pregnancy, the pregnant mother can experience the power of life because fetal movement appears. Fetal movement is a wonderful feeling, it is a means for the baby to communicate with its own mother, and the father can also sense his children’s communication with himself through fetal movement. Fetal movement is always jumping around, and mothers-to-be may be a little surprised if this is the baby moving its hands or feet. To understand this, first we should understand what is fetal movement? Fetal movement is the movement of the fetus in the uterine cavity impacting on the uterine wall. From the 5th month onwards, the mother can clearly feel the fetal activity. The fetus reaches, kicks and impacts the uterine wall in the uterus, which is fetal movement. This shows that fetal movement means that the baby is reaching and kicking, which means that the baby is not only moving its hands during fetal movement, but its feet are also moving. A mother with a thin abdominal wall can feel the fetal movement more easily than a mother with a thick abdominal wall, that is, a thin mother has a better perception of fetal movement, of course, it is also related to the mother’s sensitivity. Fetal movement is usually 3 to 5 times per hour, and about 30 to 40 times in 12 hours. If there is regular fetal movement, jumping around, it is usually the baby hiccuping, a reflection of the baby’s diaphragm development. If it’s irregular, it’s stretching and kicking, and as the baby gets bigger and bigger, the space in the womb gets smaller and smaller, and the fetal movement decreases. This means that the number of fetal movements of the baby is not quite the same in different weeks of pregnancy. However, it is important to pay close attention to the fetal movement, because whether the fetal movement is normal or not, it will directly affect the baby’s well-being. If the fetal movement is less than 20 times in 12 hours or less than 3 times in 1 hour, it often indicates that the fetus may be hypoxic, so you must go to the hospital as soon as possible to do a pregnancy test to find the specific cause of abnormal fetal movement, so that you can deal with the treatment accordingly.
