How to distinguish hypoxia from strong fetal movement

If the fetus is hypoxic, it usually shows frequent fetal movements in the early stage of hypoxia, followed by weakening of fetal movements, and the number of fetal movements will decrease or even disappear. If the fetal movement is frequent, it is not abnormal; meanwhile, we should pay attention to monitor the fetal movement count, which is normal if the fetal movement count is ≥10 times in two hours, if the fetal movement is <10 times in two hours or decreased by 50% compared with usual, it indicates the possibility of fetal hypoxia. If the fetus is hypoxic, the fetus can excrete meconium in the uterus. If the amniotic fluid breaks, you will see amniotic fluid contamination and unclear amniotic fluid, this situation indicates that the fetus is more likely to be hypoxic.
