The 21st National Tumor Awareness Week is from April 15 to 21, sponsored by Qingdao Municipal Health Planning Commission and hosted by Qingdao Central Medical Group, which will be launched on the 15th. 10 reporters interviewed and learned that there is a trend of younger age of cancer in the last decade or so, and 6 to 80% of cancers are caused by human factors. ”Most citizens know that tumors are divided into two categories, one is benign tumors and the other is malignant tumors.” Vice President of City Center Medical Group Ma Xuezhen said, benign tumor refers to the abnormal proliferation of cells in some tissues in the body, which is expansive growth, like ballooning, gradually expanding, growing more slowly, the tumor does not invade the adjacent normal tissues, the tumor is mostly spherical, nodular. The tumor is spherical and nodular in shape. The surrounding envelope is often formed, so it is clearly demarcated from the normal tissues and can be easily removed during surgery. Malignant tumors, on the other hand, are commonly known as “cancer”, which is similar in shape to crabs and is very good at infiltrating normal tissues, and can be induced in any part of human body, from internal organs to body surface, from soft tissues to bones, there is no place where cancer is not found. Ma Xuezhen said that cancer patients have a wide range of people and can develop at any age for men, women and children. “Before the age of 30, leukemia and malignant lymphoma are the main causes, while after the age of 30, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer and colon cancer are the most common. In recent decades, the age of cancer has a tendency to be younger. Youth cancer is relatively more malignant and has poor prognosis.” Cancer is closely related to people’s lifestyle, temperament, eating habits and genetics. Ma Xuezhen said that about 60 to 80 percent of cancer patients are caused by human factors, and reducing or eliminating these human factors can prevent 60 to 80 percent of cancers.
