What tests are done for problems in the lungs

The most preferred test for lung problems should be lung CT, but also pulmonary function, blood tests, sputum tests, and allergen tests can be done. Problems in the lungs can be seen in many diseases, like acute bronchitis, pneumonia bronchiectasis, tuberculosis, lung abscess, lung malignancy, allergic pneumonia, etc. Different treatments should be taken according to the results of lung CT. If the disease is infectious, it can be treated by anti-inflammatory treatment, and oral cephalosporins such as ceftazidime and ceftriaxone can be given as anti-infective treatment. If the disease is considered to be tuberculosis, anti-tuberculosis treatment should be given. If the disease is allergic, anti-allergy treatment should be given.
