After radiotherapy and chemotherapy, his condition was in significant remission and his last lung CT (8-8) was basically normal and the patient was very satisfied, but unexpectedly, he had a recurrence in two months. Because the obstruction of the right lower lung occurred within a short period of time, the patient had no time to adapt to it, so that he developed severe chest tightness. Series CT: It would not be surprising if the relapse occurred after one year, or six months, but why did it happen after only two months? I asked the patient about his diet and it turned out that he liked lamb very much and ate it almost every day after discharge. There were also crabs, protein powder, sea cucumber, etc., as well as Chinese medicine (ingredients unknown). He always thought that if he increased his nutrition , he would be better able to fight the disease. If we say that for patients with traumatic injuries in car accidents, it is OK for us to use this method of enhancing nutrition to speed up recovery, which can promote cell proliferation and speed up wound healing. But for tumor patients, it can only increase the recurrence of tumor, because tumor cells are a group of abnormal proliferating cells that escape the body’s supervision, and this big supplement just provides abundant raw materials. Except for mutton, all other beef, pork and other mammalian meat should be eaten sparingly, or even not eaten. This is because we humans are also mammals, the evolutionary history of close kin species, protein structure is also close, so that the meat eaten, in the decomposition of amino acids produced, but also the most easily synthesized as a component of our organism. With our distant relatives of fish, birds are relatively better, insects are more distant relatives. The best is plant protein, such as soy and cereals. Therefore, I suggest tumor patients to eat mainly vegetarian food is the best. However, some people are really fond of meat, just like the above mentioned one, who is fond of mutton. Since eating other things is the same as living, why must we be partial to the appetite of the mouth? There is a survey report, in the Philippines, because of the humid climate, aflatoxin is common, liver cancer is high, but among children, the children of rich families have a higher incidence, because, again, are in the carcinogenic environment of aflatoxin, meat intake, also provides opportunities for liver cancer to occur. When the human body suffers from lung cancer, it should let the metabolic rate of the body come down and not be in a state of hyper-yang. When elderly people suffer from tumor, the progress is generally slower because of the slow metabolism of the elderly body, and they recover slowly from wounds even if they have trauma. The reason is that in order to slow down the metabolic rate of the body, it should eat less, and the heating should not be too hot in winter, however, many people do the opposite, now that conditions are better, especially children, when the elderly are sick, they want to eat all that they have not eaten, not to enjoy the blessings are enjoying again, but the results may not be as desired. Filial piety is actually more scientific. That is why monks who are vegetarians are more likely to have a peaceful mind and sit down to cultivate. If they eat meat as their main food, this is impossible to do. Two years ago (July 2011), one of my classmates had surgery for a tumor. At that time, I told him not to eat high-protein food and some foods that promote proliferation, so that the incision would grow slower. He is in good health now.
