Age group with high prevalence of diabetes

Different types of diabetes, with different age groups of onset, are as follows: 1. Young people under 20-25 years old: Type 1 diabetes is mostly seen in adolescents and is dominated by autoimmune damage to pancreatic beta cell function; 2. Over 40-45 years old: Type 2 diabetes is caused by lifestyle and obesity in a genetic background; 3. Gestational diabetes: is a specific stage, mostly in women during pregnancy; 4. Special types of diabetes: has nothing to do with age group is not related. The different age groups are assessed to see if they are at high risk for targeted prevention and treatment.
