A colonoscopy found polyps directly removed?

If polyps are found in colonoscopy, generally small and few in number, benign polyps can be directly removed, if they are large and numerous, they may be cancerous and should be operated after clarifying their nature. If the polyps are relatively small and few in number, generally benign and without complications, the polyps found by colonoscopy can be directly resected and pathologically examined, so as to prevent the polyps from increasing, affecting defecation, or even cancerous changes. If the polyps are found to be larger and more in number, cancer may occur if the resection is not thorough which may lead to bleeding and other complications, the tissues can be removed for pathology examination and then surgical treatment. If there is cancer, endoscopic or laparoscopic surgery can be performed for complete removal. When polyps are found, direct excision or other surgical treatments should be carried out under the guidance of a professional doctor who can comprehensively judge the size, shape and nature of the polyps.
