Generally speaking, black spots on nose may be caused by pigmented nevus, chloasma, endocrine disorders and other factors. Patients are advised to choose appropriate ways to deal with them according to their own conditions, such as medication, physical therapy, surgery and so on. 1. Pigmented nevus: If nevus cells form benign new organisms on patient’s nose, they are usually black, so dark spots on nose may be caused by pigmented nevus. Generally, it does not need special treatment. If the diameter of pigmented nevus is ≥1.5 cm, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital and be treated by surgery or other means. 2. For treatment, drugs such as tranexamic acid are mainly given orally, together with topical 3% hydroquinone cream with 0.05%~0.1% retinoic acid cream and so on. For stubborn chloasma patients, YAG laser, Q-switched ruby laser and picosecond laser have certain clinical efficacy. 3. Endocrine disorders: Improper diet, prolonged staying up late, lack of exercise and other factors may cause endocrine disorders, leading to premature aging of the patient’s skin, which will lead to the situation of dark spots on the nose. It is suggested that patients should have a light diet and pay attention to nutrition; go to bed early and get up early to maintain sufficient sleep; increase physical exercise to improve immunity and promote hormonal balance in the body. However, other factors can not be ruled out, it is recommended that the patient consult a doctor in time, and the doctor will give targeted treatment.
