The location of the pediatric lung acupuncture point is the same as that of the adult, located 1.5 inches away from the side of the third thoracic vertebra. For the 1.5-inch location adjacent to the pediatric lung point, the muscles may not be well developed and are usually on the high point of the erector spinae muscle, which is not easy to determine. At this point, the medial border of the scapula can be counted as 3 inches, and the midpoint of the line between the medial border of the scapula and the posterior median line is 1.5 inches. Usually you can find the medial scapular edge and the posterior median line first. At its midpoint, i.e. 1.5 inch, count 3 thoracic vertebrae, the first thoracic vertebrae side is the Dazhong point, the second thoracic vertebrae side is the Fengmen point, and the third thoracic vertebrae side is the Lung Yu point.
