Is laparoscopic tubal lysis performed under general anesthesia?

General anesthesia is usually chosen for laparoscopic treatment or examination. Because laparoscopy has certain surgical requirements, a certain amount of gas has to be pumped into the abdominal cavity to distend the abdominal cavity so that there is some space for the surgical operation. There is a possibility that the process may affect the patient’s breathing, resulting in poor breathing or even respiratory distress. If general anesthesia is chosen for intubation, it can help breathing without the fear of a critical condition. Therefore, it is safer to choose general anesthesia for laparoscopic tubal evacuation. Endovascular anesthesia has been tried before for laparoscopic surgery, but there are relatively more cases that require reintubation for resuscitation, so endovascular anesthesia is not as safe as general anesthesia.
