Acupuncture method for cervical spinal cord

The cervical pinch points are on both sides of the first cervical vertebra to the lower spine of the seventh cervical vertebra, 0.5 inch from the posterior midline, 7 points on one side, 14 points in total on the left and right. Usually, cervical spine points can treat a range of neck-related diseases, including cervical spine osteophytes, cervical spine collateral ligament calcification, cervical disc atrophy and degeneration, etc. The acupuncture points are usually stabbed straight for 3-5 minutes or tapped with a plum blossom needle. When stabbing straight, pay attention to the depth of the technique, and use the flat tonic and flat diarrhea method of treatment. When percussion with plum blossom needle, heavy percussion method is used for those with more pain, and medium method is used for those with less pain, which can improve the symptoms.
