Group c Streptococcus is a type of Streptococcus. Bacteria can be differentiated into three main groups according to their appearance i.e. cocci, bacilli and spirochetes. While cocci can be further categorized into diplococci, streptococci, staphylococci, tetracocci as well as octococci. Whereas streptococcus means dividing in a plane and after dividing multiple bacteria are connected to form a chain. And streptococci can be divided into 20 groups such as A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and so on according to the difference of antigenic structure on their bacterial surface. Most of them are group A, while group C streptococci usually cause less disease than group A. However, group C streptococci are still found in some countries. However, group C streptococcus can still cause disease in some cases, such as low immunity, acquired immunodeficiency disease, etc., which can cause different degrees of pneumonia and meningitis. Therefore, we need to strengthen our immune system in order to be in the best possible health condition to cope with the uncertain risks in the environment.
