What Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Involves

Rehabilitation training for cerebral palsy includes exercise (sports) therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy. 1. Exercise therapy: including training of gross motor, fine motor, balance and coordination. For example, repeated training in grasping, holding, sitting up, etc., with movements ranging from simple to complex, in a gradual manner. 2. Physical therapy: including electrical nerve stimulation therapy, heat therapy, and hydrotherapy. 3. Occupational therapy: the purpose is to train the hands-on ability, from life skills to learning skills, and then to life skills, through the assistance of some instruments and equipment, to help cerebral palsy patients or more ability training. Cerebral palsy rehabilitation training also includes other methods, and can be combined with medication such as gangliosides and protein hydrolysis products. Cerebral palsy rehabilitation training needs to be standardized under the guidance of a rehabilitation doctor, and the use of medication needs to follow the doctor’s instructions.
