How is TB CT considered cured?

The manifestations of CT healing of pulmonary tuberculosis are described as follows: 1. Most tuberculosis patients, due to timely and reasonable treatment, the tuberculosis bacilli in the foci are killed, and the lesions are gradually absorbed without leaving any traces, and the foci disappear in CT examination; 2. Some patients, especially adolescents, are found to have calcified spots in the lungs in the physical examination. As they may have suffered from tuberculosis, the exudate foci in the lungs disappeared, and the drainage effect of lymphatic fluid in the lungs made the tuberculosis bacteria in the foci reach the hilar lymph nodes along the lymphatic vessels, and the cells in the lymphatic tissues with the ability of defense killed the tuberculosis bacteria. Due to the sedimentation and calcification of calcium in the blood, calcified spots are formed; 3, tuberculosis can be the same as other inflammatory diseases, due to protein and fibrin exudation in the lesion site, which still can not be completely absorbed after regular treatment, and fibrous foci are formed in the lesion site, which are manifested as cords and nodular shadows in CT, with high density and clear edges; 4, in some patients, after reasonable treatment, the cavities are gradually shrinking and closing in the CT , and finally form a scarred foci. There are also some patients who take strong anti-TB drugs, but the cavity on CT image still can not be closed, manifested as purified cavity, which can also be considered as cured.
