Imaging manifestations of degenerative osteoarthropathy

Degenerative osteoarthropathy is the most common lesion of bone and joint deformity in clinic. With the arrival of aging society and the prolongation of the average life expectancy of human beings, degenerative osteoarthropathy is also more and more common in clinic. Then its performance mainly has these aspects: 1, joint bone structure changes, mainly in the joint edge of the osteophytes, joint surface hardening, and even under the joint surface of the bone capsule; 2, joint space changes, due to the wear and tear of the articular cartilage, loss, resulting in the narrowing of the joint space, and this joint space narrowing is often uneven. The normal lower limb of our body, such as the knee joint, has a greater stress on its medial side than on its lateral side, so the wear and tear of its medial articular cartilage also tends to be earlier and more severe. The narrowing of its medial compartment may be more pronounced. So when we are young, our legs are very straight, but many older people can have looping legs, and this is due to degenerative osteoarthritis, the wear and tear of articular cartilage caused by joint changes; 3, joint pain, swelling and even fluid accumulation in the joint cavity are all manifestations of degenerative osteoarthritis.
