The right coronary artery is one of the body’s coronary arteries, the other being the left coronary artery. The main branches of the right coronary artery are the posterior descending branch and the posterior left ventricular branch, and its main myocardial areas are the high facet of the right ventricle and the diaphragmatic facet. If the main branches of the right coronary artery are blocked, right ventricular myocardial infarction may occur. Therefore, if there is a narrowing of the right coronary artery, it is necessary to go to the hospital for a coronary angiogram. Coronary angiography shows the degree of narrowing of the lumen. If the degree of stenosis is less than 70%, conservative treatment with medication can be chosen; if the degree of stenosis is greater than 70%, surgical treatment with stent implantation can be chosen.
